Its compact form factor allows for discreet installation over a standard electrical outlet, reducing the need for additional cabling and minimizing installation time and costs. Equipped with dual-concurrent BLE and Zigbee radios, the H550 supports seamless integration of IoT devices, enabling smart room and automation applications. The integrated 4-port Gigabit Ethernet switch allows for the connection of multiple wired devices, such as IPTV set-top boxes, IP phones, or networked minibars, without the need for additional switches or power supplies.

The H550's BeamFlex+ adaptive antenna technology and ChannelFly feature enhance wireless performance by dynamically adjusting antenna patterns and selecting the least congested channel.
