Multilink Extended Warranty
The Multilink additional warranty is exclusively available for new products when purchased concurrently with the product itself; it cannot be acquired separately at a later date. During the initial year of purchase, the product is protected by the Manufacturer's warranty. Opting for the extended warranty service ensures an additional year of warranty coverage beyond the expiration of the Manufacturer's warranty.
**Subject to the terms and conditions outlined below, Multilink offers a 1 Year extended warranty for eligible products**
1. **Coverage:**
- The extended warranty covers defects in software issues of the product.
- Hardware damage, Physical damages, water damages, and any damages resulting from unauthorized modifications are not covered.
2. **Eligibility:**
- The extended warranty is applicable only to products exhibiting issues related to software malfunctions.
- The extended warranty is applicable only to products purchased in new condition. The warranty can only be purchased along with the product and cannot be purchased at a later time.
- Products purchased as refurbished, used, or in any condition other than new are not eligible for the extended warranty. Accessories and Licenses are not covered in this warranty
3. **Customer Responsibility:**
- Customers are responsible for the cost of shipping the product both ways.
- The returned product must be properly packaged to prevent any damages during transit.
4. **Evaluation Process:**
- Once the returned product is received, Multilink will send the product to Manufacturer and they will conduct a thorough evaluation to determine the nature and cause of the issue.
- Evaluation results will determine whether the product is eligible for repair or Store credit under the extended warranty.
5. **Repair or Credit:**
- If eligible, Multilink will provide either a repair of the existing product or provide a store credit.
- The defective product will be assessed at its depreciated value, and appropriate credit will be issued accordingly.
6. **Exclusions:**
- The extended warranty does not cover issues arising from misuse, neglect, accidents, or any unauthorized attempts to repair or modify the product.
- Damages caused by third-party accessories or components not supplied by Manufacturer are not covered.
7. **Voiding Warranty:**
- Opening the product casing, breaking the warranty seal, or attempting repairs without authorization will void the extended warranty.
8. **How to Claim:**
- To initiate a warranty claim, customers must contact Multilink Support and provide proof of purchase along with a detailed description of the issue.
9. **Expiration:**
- The extended warranty is valid for 2 years from the date of the original product purchase.
10. **Limitation of Liability:**
- Multilink's liability is limited to the repair of the product or offering a store credit as outlined in these terms. Multilink is not responsible for any consequential or incidental damages.
By accepting the Extended Warranty, customers acknowledge and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Multilink reserves the right to update or modify these terms at its discretion.
