Computer Network Architect
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, load balancers, and Wi-Fi systems
- Design and implement large-scale networks for data and video delivery using Layer 2 and Layer 3 technologies
- Configure and manage site-to-site and remote-access VPNs
- Work with SD-WAN and cloud-based networking solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams to support technical sales efforts, including proposals, presentations, and RFP responses
- Partner with vendors and stakeholders to deliver complex networking solutions
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- 3+ years of experience designing, engineering, and implementing networking solutions
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols (VLANs, STP, LACP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, IP/MPLS)
- 5+ years of experience with network security protocols and services
- 5+ years of experience working with Cisco and other networking vendors
