    Perfect entry AP/router

Posted by Robert Arlt Jr. on Dec 9th 2022

I use a HAP AC as my router, but I wanted an AP in the basement. I decided to save some money and get this unit which was the cheapest with 1g poe in and dual chain 2.4 and 5. The HAP AC lite only has 100m BASE-T connections and only a few of my client devices support triple chain which the HAP AC has anyway. I was considering the HAP AC3 but this one was smaller and cheaper so I decided to go with it and I haven't been disappointed with the antenna strength.
